Amphode grew up in Sector 13 in a religious family. Ze is very religious and follows Montinism, a popular motherian religion. Before getting into politics, ze was studying aerospace engineering to become a designer for a large aerospace firm. After taking a political science class as an elective, ze switched zir major to political science. Ze gained political influence quickly after zir first election as the mayor of zir small town for enacting change rather than being enactive. After zir election as mayor, ze slowly climbed the political ranks to zir current position of Sector Director.
